Hike to Mystic Lake and camp-out with me!
This is a low grade, but long hike to a mountain lake. Together we will explore the ecosystem of the Custer Gallatin National Forest, and practice identifying edible and medicinal botanicals.
I will be teaching about ethical and sustainable harvesting, eco-system protection, and preparing wild botanicals for first aid and food.
In the evening we will share a meal, and a connective meditation by the lake.
Students should come prepared to hike a total of 15 miles and camp with their own sleeping bags, pads, and tents, with a pack-in pack-out attitude.
Bring a notebook and a writing utensil - journaling and note-taking is encouraged!
$45
Students will experience two days of botanical identification, and be given notes and recipes for botanical preparations for foods and medicine, along with a meditation to practice at home if desired.
